The Teacher Education鈥檚 Literacy Center鈥攍ocated in Rice Library鈥攈as installed a new, innovative tool blending AI and human-in-the loop technology for students. Emily Holt, Clinical Professor and Chair of Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, and Dr. Jennifer Fehrenbacher, Assistant Professor of Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene, are the authors of a journal article published in Dimensions of Dental Hygiene, July/August 2025 issue.
Jordan Thomason, Instructor in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, is the recipient of the 91社区 Foundation Outstanding Teaching by New Faculty Award. She is one of only seven individuals in the U.S.—and the only one in Indiana—certified in abdomen, OB/GYN, pediatric sonography, adult echocardiography, pediatric echocardiography and fetal echocardiography.
Dr. Daria Sevastianova, Associate Professor of Economics, recently co-hosted a personal finance webinar for K-12 educators in the state of Indiana.
Dr. Chris Sedlacek, Assistant Professor of Biology, recently co-authored a peer-reviewed paper published in early August.
Sean Weir, Assistant Professor and Chair of Occupational Therapy Assistant, has been accepted to present at the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT) Congress in Bangkok, Thailand, in February 2026.
