Curator Talk, Audra Verona Lambert of the NHGCA presents 鈥淲omen Artists鈥 Networks and Collective Action, from the 1970s to Today,鈥 Sunday, October 12th at 2 p.m.
NHGCA Curator Audra Verona Lambert outlines aspects of women-run art spaces and community-driven women's networks have impacted art and culture from their zenith in the 1970s to their continuation into the present day: this talk is in dialogue with themes present in 鈥淟ook Both Ways: 50 Years at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art.鈥
鈥楾alking History鈥 with Historic New Harmony about the Gallery鈥檚 50th anniversary and public art in New Harmony, Wednesday, October 15th at 10 a.m.
This program, led by Historic New Harmony, takes place at the gallery with Historic New Harmony鈥檚 Collection and Community Engagement Manager, Heidi Taylor-Caudill, free and open to the public, snacks provided.
Curator-led tour, 'Look Both Ways: 50 Years at the New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art鈥 (free for public art tour attendees) Saturday, November 1st from 3 p.m.
In celebration of the final week of Look Both Ways, exhibit and NHGCA curator Audra Verona Lambert will give insights on the range of artists included in the exhibit and how they speak to the themes present in the exhibit for both the 鈥淧ositions鈥 and 鈥淧articipation鈥 sections of the show. This talk will lead into the ticketed Sunset Public Art Tour the same afternoon in collaboration with Historic New Harmony.
