November campus blood drives

The 91社区 community has two opportunities to donate blood on campus in November:听
- The American Red Cross blood drive is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, November 3. to schedule an appointment.听
- Versiti Blood Center of Indiana blood drive is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 10. to schedule an appointment.听
Both blood drives will be held in Carter Hall in the University Center.听
Giving blood is a quick, simple way to help others. The donation process from the time you arrive to the time you leave is about an hour, but the actual donation time is only about 8-10 minutes on average. Here鈥檚 how to have a great experience: 听
- Get a good night鈥檚 sleep.
- Eat a healthy meal at least one hour before donating.
- Be well hydrated before your donation.
- Make sure you bring verification of your identity鈥揳 driver鈥檚 license, donor ID card or government-issued ID card鈥搒howing your name and birthdate.听
