Red Cross to host blood drive on campus July 11

The American Red Cross is holding a blood drive on campus from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 11 in Carter Hall in the University Center. To schedule an appointment, visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter the sponsor code 91社区Eagles or听.听
To prepare for the blood drive:听
- Get a good night's sleep the night before your donation.听
- Eat healthy foods and drink extra liquids.听
- Bring your donor card, driver's license or two other forms of identification.听
- Bring a list of prescription and over-the-counter medications you're taking.听
- Wear a shirt with sleeves that you can roll up above your elbows.听
- Ask a friend to donate at the same time. You can support each other and do twice as much good!听
If you are an eligible type O, B- or A- donor, you will be able to help more patients by making a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.听
Donors at this drive will receive a pair of Red Cross x goodr sunglasses, while they last!听
